Disabled Parking
Spaces closest to the entrance are reserved for disabled parking. The house is then accessed across the gravel drive. It is possible for visitors with access requirements visiting the hall to be dropped off outside the Front door. We ask the driver to then re-park in the accessible car parking area.
Please contact the Estate Office before your visit or a member of staff on arrival for alternative access and parking points if required.

Coach & Large Vehicle Access
Coaches should access the Estate through the main Front Gates on Trevor Road, these gates are 3.25 m wide, there is no height restriction. The back gate on the small road to Pont y Blew is narrower 2.98 m wide, no height restriction. The avenue of trees lining the front drive are kept trimmed to allow coach access to the front of the house.
Steps & Access within the house

There is no access to the first floor rooms which are included on house visits for wheelchairs or visitors who are unable to use the main staircase in the Great Hall.
Garden Paths
Some areas of our gardens are unsuitable for wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility aids due to the slopes and nature of the woodland garden and its grass paths and the historic gravel paths within the formal West Garden. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival for advice on the best routes if you have limited mobility.
Caution should be taken around the grounds and sensible footwear is required at all times. Please note that pathways may become slippery especially when wet. If assistance is required please ask a member of staff and a lift in a vehicle can be provided to certain areas of the garden (subject to availability and demand).
Water & Vehicular Hazards
There are various ponds and water hazards within the grounds and vehicles may also be moving around the site on occasion so children/vulnerable persons should be supervised at all times. In the event of an accident or incident please report this immediately to a member of staff.
